01 Purpose
These terms govern the use of the plavon.ca website (the site) and of the Studio Plavon application (the app), operated by Studio Plavon inc., NEQ 1182549965, 300-204 rue du Saint-Sacrement, Montréal, Quebec H2Y 1W8.
By using the site or the app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, use neither.

02 The site
The site's content is provided for information. It is neither an offer nor a quote: only a signed contract binds Plavon to a client, and these terms change nothing in such a contract, including who owns the software delivered.
The demo links lead to a demonstration of our tools, provided as is.

03 Licence to use the app
The app is internal software, reserved for the people Studio Plavon inc. authorizes. Plavon grants each of them a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app solely for the business of Studio Plavon inc.
You may not:
- copy, modify or decompile the app, or attempt to extract its code;
- resell it, rent it or give a third party access to it;
- get around its security measures or share its sign-in codes;
- use it in any way that breaks the law.
Plavon may suspend or withdraw access at any time.

04 Connection to QuickBooks Online
The app can connect to QuickBooks Online, a service of Intuit Inc., to keep the books of Studio Plavon inc. The connection is authorized by an administrator of the QuickBooks company and can be withdrawn at any time, from the app or from the Intuit account.
Use of QuickBooks Online remains governed by Intuit's terms. Plavon is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by Intuit. Intuit and QuickBooks are trademarks of Intuit Inc.
The accounting data shown in the app is a copy of the data in QuickBooks. It replaces neither the official records nor an accountant's advice.

05 Intellectual property
The site, the app, their code, text, images and the Plavon brand belong to Studio Plavon inc. or its licensors. No right is granted to you except as these terms or a written contract provide.

06 Warranties
The site and the app are provided as is and as available. We aim for a reliable and accurate service, without guaranteeing that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

07 Liability
To the extent the law allows, Plavon is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profits arising from the use of the site or the app, or from being unable to use them.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted by Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Civil Code of Québec.

08 Personal information
How we collect and protect personal information, including QuickBooks data, is set out in our privacy policy.

09 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute falls under the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, subject to a consumer's right to go to the court of their own domicile.

10 Language
These terms are written in French, and an English translation is provided. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.

11 Changes and contact
We may change these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force, and continuing to use the site or the app after a change means you accept it.
